Overview of the Requirement(s)
A tier-one contractor building a new terminal at a major UK port needed delivery teams across its marine and landside packages. The site sits away from the main construction labour markets, the programme set start dates, not a hiring cycle, and marine civils and sub agent experience is a small pool.
What Arcavia Did
We mapped 31 employers first: the project supply chain, national marine and civils firms, then employers within fifty kilometres, reaching into refining, power and offshore wind where COMAH-site safety leadership transfers well. Salaries were benchmarked against that local market and longlists built by direct approach.
The Outcomes
79 people were engaged and 28 CVs submitted, leading to two landside appointments, a Project Manager and a Sub Agent, with first CVs reaching the client inside 18 days of a role opening. Fourteen roles supported, eight closed, six in delivery for the next phase.
